Design a Christmas Light Competition -

In addition to our new illuminations, Enterprising Bathgate organise a Design a Christmas Light competition with our town’s primary schools. This project is now in it’s second year and the primary 4 children and their teachers look forward to this slight departure from their normal curriculum. A winner is chosen from each school and from this group an overall winner is then chosen.

The overall winning entry is then manufactured into a full size working illumination and this can be seen along with last years winner displayed near the Steelyard in the town centre. Eventually six winning entries will be displayed in the town.
